Jordan Country Guide

Although not a large country, Jordan has played a significant role in the power-struggle of the Middle East, due to its strategic location at the crossroads of the world's three major monotheistic religions, Islam, Christianity and Judaism. Despite this, it is a country on peaceful terms with all its neighbours, and this stability has ensured its popularity with travellers, and its continued economic growth.

Jordan contains significant cultural and historical attractions, and these attract visitors from around the world, fuelling tourism, which is one of the major contributors to the country's economic prosperity.

This Jordan Country Guide gives some useful background information about the country. Things to see and do can be found by visiting our Jordan Travel Guide, while bookable tours and accommodation throughout the country can be found on our Jordan Tours page or our Jordan Hotels.
