Itinerary
    Day 1 - Thursday - Belo Horizonte to Ouro Preto
    Distance: 114 km
    Time: 1 hour 40 minutes

    - 8:00 am-Check in at the accommodation in Ouro Preto.
    - Visit Igreja São Francisco de Assis (São Francisco de Assis Church) and Grande Teatro (Grand Theatre).
    - Lunch break in a traditional restaurant.
    - After lunch, visit the Museu de Mineralogia and Museu da Inconfidencia.
    - Free night in Ouro Preto
    Day 2 - Friday - Ouro Preto to Mariana
    Time: 1 hour (railroad trip)

    - 9:00 am - Enjoy an ancient railroad trip from Ouro Preto to Mariana and observe colonial-style houses, beautiful landscapes and rivers.
    - In Mariana city, visit the Mina Passagem, the biggest de-activated, old, colonial mine.
    - Lunch in Ouro Preto
    - Free night in Ouro Preto
    Day 3 - Saturday

    - 7:30 am - After breakfast, trek along the Estrada Real, walk through the ancient diamond trails and cross the Mariana city and the Morro da Agua Quente village, until you reach the town of Catas Altas.
    - In Catas Altas, visit the Nossa Senhora da Conceição church and the Santa Quitéria chapel.
    - Lunch break.
    - Visit the Caraça Sanctuary, a National Historical and Artistic Heritage Park, previously inhabited by priests. Now, it is a guest house. Visit the Nossa Senhora da Mãe dos Homens church, the first neo-gothic church of Brazil. You will also be visiting the Caraça Museum, the monastery and the church.
    - Head to Santa Barbara and spend the night there.
    Day 4 - Sunday - Santa Barbara
    - 9:00 am - Leave for a city tour around the Santa Barbara town and visit the Matriz de Santo Antonio church, famous for its rococo architecture style and its Athayde paintings.
    - Move from Santa Barbara to the Serra do Cipó, crossing the Barão de Cocais town, Cocais village, and the Bom Jesus do Amparo e Ipoema village, where you will be visiting the Museu do Tropeiro.
    - Later, move to Itambé do Mato Dentro city, Pilar village, and finally, the Conceição do Mato Dentro city, where you will be spending the night.
    Day 5 - Monday
    - 8:00 am - After breakfast, trek to the Diamantina city crossing the ridge of the Espinhaço Mountains. You will be passing through some towns on the way, including the Alvorada de Minas, which is one of the most unoccupied areas with astonishing landscapes of the diamond route.
    - Stop for lunch break in Serro city and witness the cheese production process at the local ranch.
    - At the end of the afternoon, move to Sâo Gonçalo do Rio das Pedras village, where you will be spending the night.
    Day 6 - Tuesday

    - 9:00 am - We take a walk around the São Gonçalo village, visit the Nossa Senhora do Rosario church, Comercio waterfall and Matriz de São Gonçalo church.
    - After lunch, continue trekking to the Milho Verde village, where you can visit the charming Rosário chapel.
    - Leaving Milho Verde, trek to the top of the mountain, passing the Vau village until you get to Diamantina.
    - Accommodation and free night in Diamantina.

    Day 7 - Wednesday

    - Breakfast and city tour in Diamantina, visit the Chica da Silva House, belonging to one of the famous characters of Brazilian history and the Nossa Senhora do Carmo Church.
    -After lunch, go to the central market, JK house, the Passadiço da Gloria and visit the local art-craft market.
    - Night in Dimantina.
    Day 8 - Thursday

    - Check out the accommodation and visit the Mirante, the Caminho dos Escravos (Slaves Path) and the Brazilian Estrada Real (Royal Road).
    - Return to Belo Horizonte.

    - Cancellations made within two days of the tour departure date: No refund.
