Cycle the Lycian Way

Duration: 7 day(s) - Location: Dalyan - Olympos

Follow the path of the Lycians and visit the many small towns you cannot even find in the many guide books. Enjoy the real Turkey with a sparkle of tourism.

The route will lead through places we all have heard of: Dalyan, Gocek, Fethiye, Kas, Olympos.

But mostly it will show you places you have never heard of and will show you the real Turkey you can only reach with your own sweat; Mergenli, Kaya Koy, Yesilova, Kaleucagiz, Cavuskoy and Ciralli for example.

This roadcycle tour is made for those who are curious, have a sense of adventure and want to go local. The tour starts in Dalyan village, situated along the Delta and opposite the impressive Lycian rock tombs, using the back roads mainly it will take you in 7 days to Ciralli close to Olympos a Lycian city.

There is eye for your comfort during the trip; a support vehicle is available with a large supply of water and snacks during the day. You can always hop in when you want to relax or take it a bit easier. The evenings are spent in small village with a good selection of local restaurants/homemade meals and comfortable hotels.

Bikes are included. Trek mountain bikes with slick tires are ready for you. Bring your own saddled and pedals for more comfort. If you prefer to bring your own road bike/hybride, please be aware that slightly thicker tires will be more comfortable on the Turkish roads.
